Through minimal means, this project transforms an unused garage into a artist’s studio. Conceptually, the studio is the artist’s blank canvas, reverently placed in front of nature’s beauty. It inspires a process of discovery and creation.
The interior is composed of carefully selected ‘off-the-shelf’ furnishings, a large central work station for collaborative meetings, attentive drywall details and a restrained colour palette. Throughout, the studio is a play between minimal design and the bold, animated expression of our natural world.
